Blaine Brownell participated as a mentor at the Hatch Biannual International Conference in Asheville, North Carolina on April 15–16, 2011. He gave a keynote lecture on April 15 and participated in a panel called “Additive Manufacturing in Architecture and Design” on April 16 with Douglas Hecker, Professor at Clemson University School of Architecture; Rajeev Kulkarni, Head of Global Engineering and R&D for 3D Systems, Inc.; and Elite Kedan, Adjunct Professor at Florida International University (moderator).
